Good afternoon distinguished ladies and gentlemen, esteemed dignitaries, captains of industry, and the gentlemen of the press. It is with great honor that we, the Isoko Youth Assembly Worldwide (IYA), led by our President, Comrade Matthew Olomu, visit the IDP Camp in Oleh today. We are accompanied by members of the Executive, our indefatigable BOT Chairman/Grand Patron, Comrade Paul Agbama, other members of the BOT, and Clan Chairmen, who are here to bear witness to this important event.
We stand united before the youth, women, elders, and leaders of the Isoko Nation to render a transparent account of our efforts in response to the devastating flood that impacted our brothers, sisters, and parents across Nigeria, particularly within the Isoko Nation. The floods brought significant hardship, displacing families and affecting lives, and the Isoko Youth Assembly felt compelled to act.
At the height of this crisis, IYA embarked on the Isoko Youth Assembly Flood Initiative, leading the way with cash donations and setting a challenge for other spirited Isoko leaders to join us in supporting the victims. Several stakeholders responded generously to this call. Today, we are here to present the cash donations to the displaced persons affected by the flood, fulfilling our commitment to stewardship and accountability.
We want to take this opportunity to reassure all flood-displaced persons that we stand with them in their time of need. We share in their pains and urge them to remain hopeful. Life may present challenges, but they must not lose heart, knowing that they have the support of their community behind them.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the flood initiative. Your support has helped ease the burden on the victims. We pray that God Almighty rewards each of you for your kindness. We also express our gratitude to the IYA Clan Chairmen who traveled from near and far to be here, and to all the stakeholders for their continuous support toward the Isoko Youth Assembly.
Together, we will continue to uplift the Isoko Nation.
Long live the Isoko Youth Assembly.
Long live the Isoko Nation.
Long live Delta State.
Long live Nigeria.
Signed,
Comrade Matthew Olomu
President, Isoko Youth Assembly Worldwide (IYA)
