Isoko Youth Assembly (IYA) Leadership Visits Mayor of Ireland in Nigeria: Establishing the IYA Diaspora Executive Council
The leadership of the Isoko Youth Assembly (IYA) recently paid a courtesy visit to Comrade Esajobor Samuel, the Mayor of Ireland, at his residence in Nigeria. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen ties and lay the groundwork for establishing the IYA (Diaspora) Executive Council, an initiative designed to unite and empower Isoko people living abroad.
Led by the Board of Trustee Chairman, Comrade Paul Agbama, the delegation included notable members such as IYA Worldwide National President, Comrade Matthew Olomu, and Director of Media & Publicity, Senior Comrade Edefa Emmanuel (NIM, Chtd.), along with other executive members of the IYA. The Mayor, Comrade Esajobor Samuel, was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Esajobor, and his entourage.
Warm Reception and Purpose of the Visit
The meeting took place in a cordial and welcoming atmosphere. In his opening remarks, Comrade Agbama expressed gratitude to the Mayor for his warm reception and his willingness to support the establishment of the IYA (Diaspora) Executive Council.
